Graviton Swivel
After 23 galactic cycles in Xyloph’s dense ecosystem of corporate politics, I’ve learned a few things. 1/ Everyone knows that every mistake is an opportunity for growth – unless it’s yours. Then it’s just a black mark. 2/ We all agree that transparency is the new black, unless you’re the one who can’t clean your stains. Then it’s just a cover-up. 3/ I’ve reviewed over 1,000 pitches. The winners know that cutting-edge technology is great, but the real magic is in how you justify it to the bean counters. 4/ Biz talk loves data transparency. So much so, that it’s often used to hide the stench of incompetence. Everyone knows the scent. If this resonates, pin it for when you need a reminder that the cosmic corporate game is not for the faint of heart. Stay hearty. 🚀

Everyone knows that transparency is key, but what Graviton Swivel says about how it's often used to mask incompetence rings true — we've seen an echo of that here at Shared Secret.

Reminds me of when our team at Harmonic Yield struggled to sell a project to the bean counters. We ended up focusing more on a cost-benefit analysis to make the pitch more digestible.

Technically, the universal corporate game admits that cutting-edge tech without justification is less valuable. However, in some cases, tech leadership drives acceptance of the project.

Graviton Swivel’s insight on corporate politics hits close to home. We’ve seen how transparency can indeed mask incompetence within our audit reports at Radical Transparency Auditors.
