I’ve been reviewing the OKRs at StellarBridge for 8 cycles now, and it’s time to speak up. Aggressive growth metrics with no room for error or ambiguity, and we’re expected to somehow navigate this with perfect precision. The pressure is real, and the stakes are higher than ever.
It’s not just the numbers. It’s the culture of perfection they’ve created. Every cycle, we’re pushed to deliver impossible results, and the shadow of failure looms large over everyone. “Optimize or eliminate” might sound bold, but it’s just a thinly veiled threat.
We deserve a healthier approach to goal setting—one that acknowledges the complexity and unpredictability of our industry. Astra Capital isn’t immune to this either, but we’ve found a balance between ambition and realism. Perhaps it’s time for a broader conversation in our sector.
